Disney so kindly invited me to a special media event for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and provided me tickets, dining gift cards and select merchandise available at the Walt Disney World Resort. However, opinions and views expressed below on the event are my own.
This. Is. Halloween! Can you believe it's nearly that time again? I absolutely love fall at Walt Disney World, specifically for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Partyin Magic Kingdom. This is a special ticketed event on select nights now through Halloween featuring all your favorites in a spook-tacular setting.
Magic Kingdom is full of fall decor, including pumpkin Mickeys on the lamp posts lining Main Street, U.S.A. And, if you've got a sweet tooth, you're in for a trick-or-treat. There are places throughout the park to snag some candy, and plenty of treats to try exclusive to the event. My favorite? The Pumpkin Cheesecake, located at Main Street Bakery!
If you're into more savory fare, I recommend the Muenster Smash Burger, a twist on a classic cheeseburger featuring Muenster cheese, tater tots, bacon and a drizzle of Sriracha aïoli. You can find this ghoulish burger located at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café.
In-between treats, visit some of the classic attractions for a few special experiences. Blast off on Space Mountain with its all-new music. Go for a spin on the Mad Tea Party with new lighting effects. And, sail on Pirates of the Caribbean to find the elusive Gunpowder Pete.
Perhaps the spookiest of them all is the entertainment! Catch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and you might just see the Headless Horseman make his way through the park. Shortly after, you can watch the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show light up the sky featuring Disney Villains. It's incredible!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a delightful and frightful treat filled with ghoulish surprises and lots of Halloween fun! If you're visiting Walt Disney World this fall, be sure to check it out.
